BIANCO PERLINO
BIANCO PERLINO
Bianco Perlino Marble (also known as Biancone or Bianco Asiago) is a high-quality Italian marble, which is available in a couple of different shades: ice white or with a slightly warmer base. Usually, the block is cross cut (parallel to the stratification layers), or ,less used, the vein cut (vertical to the stratification layers) where the straight line of the veins is mostly shown. In contrast with other white marbles, the Bianco Perlino seems discretely homogeneous in its shades.
By extracting the blocks, from the higher to the lower part of the quarry, we go from an ice white to a slightly warmer white. This light colour change occurs gradually across the entire block over the consolidated layer forming the quarry walls. It is finely suited for any kind of interior design (floors, wall covering, staircases, fireplace surroundings, kitchen tops, skirting boards, countertops and bathroom furniture).
It offers a modern, captivating style, with polished or honed finishes, by maintaining the homogeneity of the marble tile and the colour clearness like few others in the world. The finish that mostly highlights its features is the brushed one, used in classic or modern furniture to draw attention to the design of its veins; it is a particular type of marble workmanship which is common in Italy, especially for indoor flooring.
