Marble tables are certainly the best choice as furniture for your dining room. They are ideal for those who want something eternal, unique, easy to clean and that, above all, never goes out of style.

It can be made with a metal base, or a marble pedestal (legs) with a column or two to make people’s seats less bulky. It can also be made with a marble pedestal (leg) and a glass top, this would allow the pedestals themselves to be enhanced in transparency. These are unique and practical works, lasting over time without any wear or maintenance.

If you are looking for a marble that illuminates the environment and embellishes it, then we certainly recommend a white marble (such as Carrara, Calacatta and Statuario marble). It goes well with young and informal environments, perhaps combined with accessories, such as chairs or colored pedestals.

A black or colored marble (such as Nero Marquina, Nero Portoro, Emperador and Bardiglio) goes well with those refined and elegant environments. If then combined with steel pedestals, it would become the undisputed star of your living room.

The table is a necessary piece of furniture in the home of each of us. The length for a dining table is between 150 cm and 300 cm on average, and a width that is between 90 cm and 150 cm. The minimum thickness is 2 cm and also the most used (with any reinforcing steel blades), but if the availability of the slabs allows it and you want to opt for greater resistance, you can decide for the 3 cm thickness.

The most requested marble tables are certainly with White Carrara, Calacatta Oro, Calacatta Viola, Statuario, Arabescato, Nero Portoro, Emperador and Nero Marquina.

While for the granite and quartzite tables, the most requested are in Sodalite, Amazzonite, Avocatus, Patagonia and Black fusion.

How much does a marble table cost?

The price varies according to the size of the slabs, the type of material and the quality. The starting price is around 400 € up to 4.000 € for a finished table ready to enhance your home.

On request, we also produce the “legs” (pedestals) in marble obtained from the same slabs to make the marble table top. Marble legs in any required shape which can be rectangular, square, round (solid marble only), hexagonal and even octagonal.

The edges of the most used marble tables are the straight edge, full bullnose edge, 45 ° edge, 45 ° edge with shed (to increase the thickness). Then there are more particular edges such as the owl’s beak coast, half round coast, half bull coast, contoured ribs and other types.

How to clean a marble table?

As with marble kitchen worktops, the worktop should not come into contact with acidic foods (lemon and vinegar). In this case, we recommend cleaning quickly with a microfibre cloth, water and non-aggressive detergent. For prevention, apply water repellent treatments a couple of times a year so as to have additional protection.
