Tropical Storm (Portoro Quartzite) – Elegant Angolan Quartzite with Gold and White Veins

Tropical Storm, also known as Portoro Quartzite, is a refined and elegant quartzite extracted in Angola, southern Africa. It features a deep black background highlighted by fine white and gold veins, offering movement, contrast, and prestige. As a result, it brings drama and sophistication to luxury interior spaces.

Moreover, its structure and aesthetic closely resemble Belvedere Quartzite, but with finer detail and even more visual refinement. Because of this, it is frequently used for statement walls, designer furniture, and architectural surfaces. In fact, its elegance shines best in open spot or bookmatched designs.

Why Choose Tropical Storm Quartzite?

When bold design meets fine texture, Tropical Storm is the perfect material. For this reason, it is highly appreciated by interior designers working on elegant and expressive interiors.

Not only does it deliver excellent resistance to scratches and heat, but it also performs as a decorative surface. Furthermore, its dark base with luminous veining makes it ideal for both high-contrast and tone-on-tone compositions. Whether installed in a kitchen, bathroom, or entryway, it immediately becomes a visual centerpiece.

Additionally, its rich appearance works beautifully under natural or accent lighting, enhancing spatial depth.

Key Advantages:

• Black base with refined white and gold veining

• High durability and resistance to heat and wear

• Low porosity ensures easy cleaning and long-lasting beauty

• Available in polished, honed, and textured finishes

• Supplied in tiles, slabs, blocks, and custom formats

Consequently, it is perfect for interiors that demand structure, contrast, and timeless elegance.
