Also called “crystallized” or “semi-polished” finish.
This is a surface finish for natural stone slabs which gives a smooth appearance and opaque finish.
In order to obtain a smooth surface, we’ll need diamond abrasive discs that weave the slab to eliminate all marble surfaces’ imperfections to obtain a new and whole surface.
Initially it can give a shiny effect that can be enhanced by polishing it: in fact, it is the intermediate phase of the finishing which, by being interrupted earlier, offers a matt finish with non-slip qualities, so that the surface will be honed (smooth) but though entirely polished.
Marble sanding is suitable for both indoor flooring and exterior coatings, as acid rain does not damage the stone’s surface.
