Sandblasted finish: The processing is carried out with an air compressor which with strong pressure, thanks to an abrasive mixture composed of air, water and silica sand, quartz or metal grit, erodes the most superficial part of the material. Thanks to its anti-slip properties it is mainly used for outdoor flooring and for environments with rustic furnishings. It is a less aggressive process than bush-hammered. It creates an aging of the marble and is used on rustic and refined environments. This type of finish is also widely used in the restoration of architecture (including historical ones) with the aim of restoring them to new beauty.
