Travertine Classic (or Roman Travertine or Travertino Classico Romano) is a well-known Italian marble extracted from the quarries of Rome, famous for its presence in many buildings in Rome (such as the Colosseum) since the ancient times, It’s a uniform light beige stone with brown spots and veins, and has a great ability to withstand the outside environment. Suitable for both interior (floors, tables …) and exterior (thresholds, sidewalks …). Roman travertine is usually in “vein cut” with horizontal veins, and rarely in “cross cut”.
